Site Selection and Planning for Mission Critical Facilities

On a hill or in the valley? On the perimeter or in the center of the building? Distance to utilities and emergency services? One of the first steps in building a new Data Center, or moving an existing Data Center, is finding the right location. This course explores different considerations that should be explored in Site Selection & Planning related to NCPI, including: geography, building types, power, emergency services, shared facility issues, and economic challenges.
